Tutor for Africa: Inspiration for online global
Tutor for Africa Founder, Dr. Silas Wandera has created an education solution for his home town of Kenya, Africa. Working in partnership with the school next door, Silas has created an online learning management system (LMS) that begins with personalized learning.
Students can access coursework to start where they are and move forward from there. With the ability to download the tools then work offline, students now can learn on their own device and come to school prepared to move forward. TFA brings together Foundational and Digital Literacy, meeting the needs of students and teachers, not only in his own community, but throughout Africa and places where connectivity is an issue.
